Platteville Arts, Trails, and History Project (PATH)

PATH is a volunteer-led community arts and culture project initially funded by the National Endowment for the Arts Our Town program. As of 2022, PATH is officially a subcommittee of Ripple Artspace!

The goal of PATH is to bring the community together to decide what makes Platteville special — specifically to decide how we can use arts and culture to promote the town’s special qualities and make our community a better place. Out of the initial grant project, a Creative Community Plan was written and shared, and the Chalk and Cheese Festival was started, which is now the primary focus of PATH. The Festival served as the culminating event following the 2 year NEA “Our Town” Project, and continues to grow each year.
